Feeling Good!

After a solid sleep last night and an easy day, Ive managed to ward off the impending cold.

Ive generally found that its easy to nip these things in the bud if you take the necessary precautions early enough.

When I sense an oncoming cold. I do the following things:

1- Increase water intake
2- Increase to 2500mg of Vitamin C daily
3- Sleep, sleep, sleep

Doing these three things has saved me many times. It gives your immune system the necessary means to regroup and regain its resiliency to infectious colds. I've found in the past that if your conditions worsen, it is generally due to viral infections as opposed to your ability to rejuvenate your immune system.

I plan on resuming training tomorrow, maybe with a moderate intensity ride, instead of full out intervals.
